December Lost and Found Items & Dec. 14 Reminder

Seasons Greetings, CRS Families!

Just a quick post to remind everyone about a couple of things:

First, our Christmas Activity Night is rapidly approaching on Wednesday, December 14, from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.

If you missed the information that was posted on this blog and shared out via School Messenger in November, you can still find out about the details by clicking HERE.

If you did not respond about attending the Christmas Activity Night before the RSVP form closed and you are still planning to join us, please call the school office so that we can have a reasonable idea of how many people to expect. The purpose of the RSVP was to inform our orders for cookies, hot chocolate and craft supplies. We did plan for a few more guests than actual responses but if we have a very large number of late additions who did not RSVP, we will be short on refreshments and crafts. Nevertheless, we think it will be a fun night of camaraderie and festive socialization!

Please note that some of our activities will be outdoors. The forecast for December 14 currently looks promising but Alberta weather can change rapidly, so please make sure that you and your children are dressed for winter temperatures if you want to enjoy some time around the campfire and/or playing road hockey with Camrose Kodiaks players and staff members!

Secondly, here is our latest video showcasing the Lost and Found items that have accumulated in late November and December:

If you see something that looks like it may have escaped from a closet in your home, please tell your child to pick it up or, if you will be joining us on December 14th, you can pick it up then!

Items still remaining in Lost and Found at the holiday break will either be washed and distributed to students in need of winter clothing here at CRS or donated to charity.

Yours in Education,

Reid Lansing

Principal - Chester Ronning School
