Every year we are required to provide Alberta Education with a signed and dated "Student Verification form" for each of our students. We also use the form to ensure all of the information we have regarding your child(ren) is correct. This year we have moved to an electronic verification form for this process. In an attempt to streamline our process, the FOIP and Technology Use forms have been incorporated into the Verification form.
To access and complete this form you will need to log into the parent portal via your Web browser (Google Chrome for example. You will not be able to complete this process on the App). Click on the SchoolEngage icon on the left. You will be redirected to the SchoolEngage site where you can select your child’s name. Click on the 2022-2023 Student Verification Form and then on the blue icon in the first column to review the information. Once you’ve completed your verification, click on the green submit button on the bottom of the page.
Lifetouch Customer Care Contact:
If parents are asking questions about their fall photos status, errors on their orders, or how to place orders, please have them call our Lifetouch Customer Care line at 1.866.457.8212 or go to our ordering website, www.mylifetouch.ca
NEW Way of accessing your child’s images online:
Lifetouch Photography is excited to announce the launch of a new way to access photos online.
After much safety and security testing, Lifetouch developed a way for families to access their child’s photo using their student ID number.
Go to our website at www.mylifetouch.ca, click on Student ID and follow the detailed instructions to view and order photos.
If you have any questions on this ordering process, please call the Lifetouch Customer Care Line at 1.866.457.8212 or access the live chat on our website, www.mylifetouch.ca
Parents can still access their photos online by using their child’s portrait ID and access code. By enabling the option of using your child’s student ID number, gives people another way to access photos if they lose their proof sheet.

Dear Grade 5 Families,
It's great to connect with you!
On our ECKS school website, we have information about our school's Soccer Academy Program running from February to June 2023. Originally, it was communicated that the registration deadline for the program was October 30, 2022. As we reflect on our ability to effectively plan for the second semester, we need to adjust the deadline. Therefore, the registration deadline has been changed to August 30, 2022. This has been updated on both the parent information document and the registration form. Please see our school website for more information!
We can't wait to meet all of our new students in September. Have a great summer break.

January 3 - Gr. 4 and 5 Families - Drop-off/Pick up location change
In an effort to reduce vehicle congestion in the back loop of the school parking/drop off/pick up, we are asking grade 4 and 5 families to drop their student off to line up outside the front of the school, rather than at the back and adding to the congestion. We thought we would be in the new school and wouldn't need to make a change, but as we don't yet have a move in date, we need to make the change now to try to keep students safe and minimize risk.
Starting January 3, please drop your gr. 4 or 5 student off to line up in the front of the school yard. If they are crossing the street in front of the school, please ensure they do so safely, using the crosswalk.
Thanks for your help!

Mabel's Labels Fundraiser
Chester Ronning School is offering a fundraiser you may want to participate in! You want your child's belonging to come back home with them - labels would help! Shoes, water bottles, coats, mitts, ski pants; how many items did your child lose this year?
The funds raised would go to supporting students for the 2021-2022 school year. Check it out!
