Hot Lunch for All Students - June 15 and 16

After a year filled with restrictions, CRS is very happy to provide a complimentary hot lunch for all of our students! The majority of students will receive their hot lunch on Tuesday, June 15. Our Mon/Wed Kindergarten class will have their special lunch on Wednesday, June 16. On your child's day for hot lunch, please send a drink and snacks for the remainder of the day.

This free hot lunch is made possible using a nutritional grant that we received at the start of the school year and will be ordered from the 62nd Street Café, which is the cafeteria at École Camrose Composite High School. Inside their certified, commercial kitchen, individually packaged meals will be prepared and packaged for each class, so that all we need to do is deliver them to each homeroom! Each individually packaged lunch will include a spaghetti dinner, dessert (assorted Rice Krispy squares, brownies and cookies) as well as cutlery and napkins. 

CRS teachers are currently recording which students require a gluten-free option and/or who would prefer their noodles simply buttered, without meat sauce. If your child has specific dietary requirements or if you would prefer that they not participate in this hot lunch, please contact your child's teacher or the school office.
